Drug Uses

Usage
You should take Norvаsc exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Norvаsc may be taken with or without food. Being a once-a-day medication, Norvаsc may be used alone or in combination with other drugs for high blood pressure or angina.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose of Norvаsc, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. But never ever take 2 doses at the same time.
Storage
Store it away from light in a cool dark place.

The most probable symptoms of a Norvаsc overdose are a faster heartbeat and a drop in blood pressure. So seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.

vivid or abnormal dreams;
flushing;
abdominal pain;
nausea, diarrhea, or constipation; or
increased or difficult urination.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
